Whether you worked part-time, received a scholarship, or just need to file to unlock your credits — we assign your file to a tax expert and handle it end-to-end. Fixed price: $57.99.
A student tax return covers your T4 employment income, T2202 tuition certificate, and scholarship or bursary income. Filing also unlocks your GST/HST credit, builds your RRSP contribution room, and records unused tuition credits for carryforward. A tax expert is assigned to your file. They prepare the return, review it with you, and e-file with CRA. Fixed price: $57.99 per return.

Seasonal, part-time, or co-op placement income — you need to file a return and may be entitled to a refund.
Your post-secondary institution issued a T2202 for eligible fees paid this year. That certificate is a federal tax credit — and any unused portion carries forward indefinitely.
Some amounts are taxable, some are exempt. We calculate what’s reportable and file it correctly.
First returns feel complicated. They’re not — when someone runs the process for you.

Four steps, one tax expert. Your return moves through a defined process from intake to filing — no gaps, no handoffs to strangers.

You fill in our intake form and upload your documents — T4, T2202, and any other slips. A checklist tells you exactly what to gather.
We assign a tax expert to your file. Not whoever’s available that day — the right person for your situation.
Your expert prepares the return and checks every credit that applies. Anything that needs your input gets flagged before the file moves forward.
You go through the return with your expert in a short session. Once you’re satisfied, it goes directly to CRA.
Filing your return is what unlocks these. Most students don’t know to claim at least one of them.
Tuition tax credit (T2202). Your T2202 shows the eligible fees your school charged this year. The federal credit is 15% of those fees — plus a provincial credit on top. If your income is too low to use it all, the unused amount carries forward to future years, when it’s worth more.
GST/HST credit. Most students qualify. CRA calculates the amount based on your income and age — but only after you file. A missed return means missed quarterly payments, and you can’t claim them retroactively.
Moving expenses. Relocated more than 40 km closer to a full-time post-secondary program? Moving costs may be deductible against your scholarship income or employment income earned at the new location.
RRSP contribution room. Every dollar of earned income adds to your RRSP contribution room. It starts at 18. File this year, and that room is open — even if contributing is years away.
“I filed my tax return for the first time this year and had so many questions along the way. Mr. Farhad took the time to patiently guide me through the process and explained everything clearly. He and his team handled everything with care and professionalism.”
“As a teacher, I’m not very familiar with filing taxes properly. If I had used tax software like many of my friends, I would not have been able to save the money that Count myAccount saved me. They were excellent in their communications, responded to my questions very quickly, and explained my tax papers to me.”
“Every year I had a nightmare about how to file my taxes — this year I trusted Count myAccount and it was a great decision. It was filed very easily, and I received the most money back I have ever gotten.”
“Before working with them, I was simply filing taxes as an employee without really understanding the opportunities available to me. Samira helped me see things from a completely different perspective and made me aware of how I can legally use my expenses to reduce my taxes and even get money back.”
